Flyleaf from a book given to the Louisiana State University library in memory of J. Fair Hardin, inscribed by Cammie G. Henry of Melrose Plantation, Natchitoches Parish, La. The book was probably by Mary Barrow Linfield, who also wrote under the pen name Lawrence Highland, of St. Francisville, La., as the inscription furnishes biographical information on Linfield.
